  • I love it... There are 64 gardens in this city which you can visit them in all seasons (we visited shiraz on December and the gardens were green)... if you don't have enough time choose "bagh-e-Eram" & "Narenjestan-e-Qavam" Don't forget to visit the tombs of Saadi & Hafiz... they are open even at night and are so nice in day or night... walk lonely in there for a while and receive positive energy of environment. Visited December 2016.

General Information About Kashan

Kashan is an old city with beautiful buildings and villages in Esfahan province .furthermore it was famous for its high quality pottery and tile production special between the 12th and the 14th centuries. Since, the etymology shows the name of Kashan comes from “Kasian” the original inhabitants of the city, whose remains are found at “Tapeh Sialk “dating back 9,000 years; later this was changed to "Kashian”, Then the word for a tile in Persian (Kashi) comes from the name of the town. It has some historical buildings like: The “Fin bath house “(the place of Amirkabir ‘s killing) &” Fin garden” and some historical, beautiful houses like Tabatabee house …etc. In the east side of the city Kashan opens up to the central desert of Iran which the city is famous for, Today Maranjab and the surrounding Shifting Sands is a popular destination at the weekends. It is well- known for Maranjab desert and Carvanserai located near the Namak lake (or Salt Lake). Abyaneh is one of the oldest village near Kashan with special and beautiful features that everyone like to see it because the old tradition of living of its people and ceremonies attract everyone to visit this amazing village.
