Pink Mosque

Nasir -al- Molk Mosque is located in the south of Iran, Shiraz, In “gode Araban alley “near Shahe cheragh “.This Pink Mosque was built at the end of the 19th century built in Qajar era by “Nasir al Molk” from Shiraz .
The pink mosque is the elegant colorful and pictorial mosque its building was made of many painted tiles of roses. So its colored tiling (an unusually deep shade pictures of roses) is exquisite. There are some particularly fine Muqarnas ( a kind of art on tile ..)in the small outer portal and in the northern Iwan (porch ), but it is the stained glass, carved pillars and polychrome faience of the winter prayer hall that dazzle the eye when the sun streams in.
Early in the morning (9 am to 11 am) is the time which makes a magical experience – and an irresistible photograph. And also it is the best time to visit the Mosque when the hall and its Persian carpets are illuminated with a kaleidoscope of patterned flecks of light.
